This book had some twists that led me to figure out the story. I enjoyed the way it was complex and layered. It discussed what a "mom" will go to to protect her child, leaving you with the thought—can you go too far?

Loved reading this story the first time. Reading it a second time as an audio book wasn't quite as good. I was distracted by the narrator's Scottish accent for Ian--it just wasn't quite it. The book itself I highly recommend.
